The Neighbourhood
We are a short drive to the Mapua Wharf which has a good selection of restaurants and cafes, Rimu Wine Bar and The Bear Brewery. Ruby Bay Takeaways are across the road with the best fish and chips.
The Great Taste Cycle Trail is not far away and goes as far as Kaiteriteri one way or Nelson the other way via the Mapua Ferry which connects Mapua To Rabbit Island. Bikes can be hired in the village.
There are artist galleries, potteries and wineries galore.
The Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park and Nelson Lakes National Park are all close by and driveable in a day.
