A quirky, welcoming and private cottage, overlooking paddocks and orchards. Maple Durham Cottage is an absolute delight, set in a large garden among mature trees and shrubs.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. Comfortably furnished and lovingly put together, you will immediately feel at home.

Our lovely owner Kirsty, has furnished the cottage with a wonderful eclectic collection of  furniture, arts and crafts to create a unique environment for your stay.
Maple Durham Cottage sleeps up to five people.

If you can drag yourself away Mapua village is not far away with award winning waterfront restaurants, boutique shopping and lovely walks around the bird filled estuary and beach.

20 minutes to Nelson or Motueka.

Kahurangi National Park is great for tramping, there are the golden beaches and kayaking in the Abel Tasman and Kaiteriteri is only a 35 minute drive.

There is just so much to do here in this amazing part of the world.

A cool little place close to the Mapua Town Centre. Kitchen was awesome and had lots to cook with. Outside area was cool too with quirky eclectic touches. Excellent comms

Quirky pleasant house that was well equipped and in a handy location. A comfortable 20 minute walk to the wharf. Well equipped kitchen and great outdoor seating to enjoy  the last of the summer balmy evenings. Host Sian was excellent to deal with and responses always prompt.

Lovely vibrant cottage to stay in. Check in was a breeze, location was fabulous and the views of the field and the vines was lovely. Lots of little quirky bits and bobs in the cottage, kitchen was well fitted out. Lots of very efficient heaters for those cold autumn and spring mornings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Maple Durham feels like a much loved, homely family holiday home with a quirky retro vibe. It’s cosy and welcoming with an old school enclosed log burner. There’s a thoughtfully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, great patio and lovely views of vines and farmland.
