With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all.

We’re lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway.

The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

The space

The Studio is fully self-contained, peaceful and stylish with everything you need for a quiet and comfortable getaway for two. With one main room and a separate bathroom, the studio occupies around 40 sqm, is filled with original artwork and contains all you need, with plenty of room around the kitchen, lounge and sleeping areas. Wide open doorways offer great views and make for a light-filled room during the day, whilst the secluded location makes for great “dark skies” viewing at night.

There are plenty of amazing cafes, restaurants, pubs and wineries nearby. If you feel like eating in, we have a hand-crafted farmhouse style kitchen with fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, double hob, microwave and BBQ, so you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast on your private deck or a BBQ on the evening patio. There’s even some of Simon’s home-roasted coffee ready for the plunger!

There’s a TV and WiFi and a very comfy king-size bed with great wake-up views down the valley. Perfect!

Please note you are welcome to wander around our property and enjoy the views. Just be aware there may be sheep present – so please close gates after yourselves.
Also be aware that our main house may be hosting other guests during your stay. This is out of site of the studio and share the access drive only.

Extra charges will apply if the property is not left as found, the BBQ needs cleaning or there is excessive rubbish left at the property.

Property Rules and Booking Conditions

A non-refundable 10% deposit is required at the time of booking.

No smoking, no venue or party use.

A $200 bond and $120 clean fee are added to every booking.
